On this page I will try to show you the different stages of our work as different building projects  progress. We are currently working on a 7 month project in Hendon. This is a 2 storey side extension, single storey rear extension, a loft conversion and refurbishment.

WEEK 1-2

During the first 2 weeks we were mainly involved in demolition works as you can see below

Ground floor Demolition

Demolition of Exterior Garage

WEEK 3

Installation of Steel Beams where we  created new openings for the rear extension and the side extensions plus installation of 2 new box frames.

WEEK 4

Digging of foundations with mini-digger for rear and side extensions to depths of 2.4m for the side and 1.9m for the rear extension plus filling up with concrete

WEEK 5

Commence Building of double cavity wall for rear  and side extension

WEEK 6

Fitting of 7 x 2 Roof Joists for the ground floor side and rear extensions

WEEK 7

Building of second floor cavity wall

WEEK 8

Fitting of roof structural beams  and floor joists in the loft

WEEK 9

Fitting of roof joists and construction of the side and rear dormers

WEEK 10

Completing the roof structure and starting the fitting of the roof insulation

WEEK 11

Make opening for the stairs, fitting of the Velux windows, and creation of partition walls in loft and on ground floor

WEEK 12

Start the Fitting of the breathable roof membrane, roof battons and the tiles
